area of the body that is stressed or not functioning to it’s full potential,
determine and then correct the problem thereby restoring balance to
the nervous system and energy systems. Once this has been achieved
health and well-being can be restored!
While some therapies are used to correct the body structure and
influence the function, TBM corrects the Functional Physiology (how the
body works) reducing the need for ongoing structural work in its
endeavour to restore optimum health.
One of the main philosophies of the people who developed TBM is
that...
“The power that made the body can heal the body”
TBM has taken that philosophy and explored the possibilities inherent in
the human body of self-regeneration and has demonstrated that...
“If the right thing is done to the body at the right time
and the right way, miracles can happen”
How Did TBM Originate?
TBM evolved from the minds and insights of three Chiropractors and
Kinesiologists -
Dr Victor L Frank, Dr Robert Riddler and Dr C Harold Havlic around 30
years ago.
Dr Robert Riddler began to explore the body's healing potential further,
going beyond what Applied Kinesiology (AK) had already successfully
demonstrated. In his own research, he found ways of accessing the
healing potential of the body. The body's biological-computer is opened
through the use of touch points discovered in AK, as well as trigger
point therapy and acupuncture.
Dr Riddler simplified and expanded the concepts of Applied Kinesiology
using the above noted points and shared this information with
colleagues. He began teaching in California and Canada and inspired Dr.
Frank and Dr. Havlic. These innovative Chiropractors truly believed that
for every disease there is a cure within nature and they decided they
wanted to develop and perfect a method of natural care that was
repeatable and could benefit everyone. That’s when TBM was born.
